Alstom wins a new combined cycle power plant contract in Indonesia

Alstom has won a contract worth about 160 million euros with the national electricity utility PT.PLN (Persero) in consortium with Marubeni Corporation for the construction of a combined cycle power plant in Indonesia. The power plant is located at Muara Tawar, 35 km from Jakarta, on the northern coast of Java.

New shareholding structure for Alstom South Africa

Alstom will participate in reshaping the shareholding of Alstom South Africa (Pty) Ltd Group (ASA), its former subsidiary which it sold in 2002 to a group of investors.

Alstom is awarded a fourth consecutive combined-cycle power plant contract with Hc Energia in Spain

An Alstom-led consortium with Duro Felguera engineering group was awarded a turnkey contract by Hc Energia, a subsidiary of the EDP-Energias de Portugal group based in Oviedo, for the construction of a 400 MW combined cycle power station in Soto de Ribera, province of Asturias, Spain. Additionally, a long-term operation support and maintenance contract was awarded and both contracts represent a total value of  340 million euros. The order is expected to be booked in the second half of fiscal year 2008/09.
